Jiuzhaigou Valley is a nature reserve and national park located in northern Sichuan province of southwestern China, Jiuzhaigou is part of the Min Mountains on the edge of the Tibetan Plateau and stretches over 72,000 hectares.
UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In 1992 the Jiuzhai Valley National Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and in 1997 it was awarded the status of UNESCO Man and Biosphere Reserve. Since then, it has received much other well-deserved acclaim.
