Mombasa is a city on the coast of Kenya. It is the country’s second largest city, after the capital Nairobi, with an estimated population of about 1.2 million people in 2016. Mombasa Kenya palace of historical significance to the historical thesis of the country Kenya it is well-known for its tumultuous historical background, the coastal town was the battle ground of many inter-dynastical wars in the past.
Mombasa is also the gateway to Kenya and a tourist destination that attracts tourist from all over the world. To the south it is linked by ferries, very safe with no history of any calamity and in the north by Nyali bridge. I work in the USA but this is my vacation choice every summer for the last seven years. It is relaxing, delicious Swahili food, great people, rich history and culture. Fort Jesus takes you down the memory lane with great history. There beaches in north and south coast and great five star hotels. Other areas of great interest along the coastal belt are Mtwapa, kilifi,and Malindi.
Mombasa Kenya is one bestowed with such beautiful beaches with white sandy beaches and a deep historical and cultural heritage that most travelers cannot resist, the beauty of the beaches and the history surrounding this city is simply marvelous.
